Planning a Lost Cave Visit During Your Aruba Cruise Stop
A cruise stop gives you a fixed window to explore Aruba. The easiest way to plan a Lost Cave visit is to work backwards from your ship’s all-aboard time, making room for the experience and both journeys. You can then decide whether to add another Oranjestad stop or keep the day simple.
This guide helps you build that plan. Your cruise line’s instructions and the details on your confirmed booking should guide the final schedule.
Start with the time you must be back on board
Write down your ship’s arrival time, the time you expect to be able to go ashore, and the all-aboard deadline. Ask your cruise line which time applies to those instructions. Match it carefully to the Aruba local time used for your Lost Cave booking.
Next, allow for returning to the port, any boarding procedures and a buffer you are comfortable with. Use current transport information for the journeys you plan to make. A map distance alone does not tell you how long disembarkation, finding transport or returning through the terminal will take.
Allow for the full visit and your arrival
The full Lost Cave visit lasts 60 minutes, including check-in and the transfer that forms part of the experience. Arrive 5–10 minutes before your booked time at Zuidstraat 9, Oranjestad, Aruba. Keep your travel from and back to the port separate from that visit allowance.
The Lost Cave operates Tuesday–Saturday. Start by checking whether your port date and a suitable time are available. If the available time leaves too little room before all-aboard, ask the team about your plans before booking.
For the attraction itself, expect an indoor theatrical experience with cave-inspired environments, performers and storytelling. Read what the Lost Cave experience involves so everyone in your party knows what they are choosing.
Use this simple port-day checklist
Fill in these details before selecting your ticket time:
- Port date: your ship’s scheduled day in Aruba.
- Earliest realistic departure from the terminal: after you have gone ashore.
- Journey to Zuidstraat 9: your chosen transport and current travel allowance.
- Arrival at Lost Cave: 5–10 minutes before the booked time.
- Full visit: allow 60 minutes, including check-in and the experience’s transfer.
- Return journey and boarding: your travel allowance, cruise-line instructions and chosen buffer.
- All-aboard deadline: the time confirmed by your ship.
Leave optional shopping, a meal or another stop until you can see that this basic plan fits. If you want ideas for the rest of your time, our Oranjestad visitor guide can help you choose one or two possibilities.
Choose the individual or group booking route
For individual tickets or a family visit, check available dates and times. Before paying, make sure the date, party details and timing match your port-day plan.
For a private visit or cruise group, email booking@arubacave.com. Include your ship, port date, number of adults and children, children’s ages, preferred time and all-aboard deadline. Mention any transport, mobility or other arrangements you need to discuss. Sending an enquiry starts the conversation; your visit details still need confirmation from the team.
Our cruise-group information explains that enquiry route. Confirm the proposed meeting point, timing and any transport arrangements in the reply before finalising your plans.
Keep the booking terms with your itinerary
Direct website tickets have a 24-hour cancellation cutoff: cancel at least 24 hours before the booked start for a full refund. Later cancellations are non-refundable, and changes less than 24 hours before the start are not accepted. The cutoff uses Aruba local time. Check the terms attached to a reservation made through another booking channel, or those provided for your group arrangement.
If your ship’s plans change, contact the booking team promptly to discuss your reservation. Keep the confirmation and contact details easy to find while ashore.
For the next step, review our cruise visitor information and arrival guidance, then choose a visit that fits comfortably into your day.
